For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death. [2 Corinthians 7.10]
Got sorrow? That's a good thing because that sorrow is God's calling to repentance (away from sin) and unto salvation.
It is a fool destined for hell who fails to respond to sorrow correctly with repentance and faith.
Father, I don't want to be the fool who, in sorrow, fails to repent.
