Rejected

Hear this message from the LORD, all you who tremble at his words: “Your own people hate you and throw you out for being loyal to my name. ‘Let the LORD be honored!’ they scoff. ‘Be joyful in him!’ But they will be put to shame. [Isaiah 66.5]

I believe the time is fast approaching when those who refuse the world and its systems will be welcomed to leave the established Church.

As the idols of man's systems continue to become more intricately woven into the fabric of society (the Church included), the more preposterous those who purpose to trust God alone will seem.

The Church has put up with the idolatry of the world so long that it now even embraces it. The Church is no less involved in borrowing money, using medicine, and utilizing the absolute latest technology than the rest of the world. So engrained are the world's systems in the Church today that anyone who decries their use is seen as radical, unreasonable, and just plain ridiculous.

But God seeks out those who trust Him ALONE. God has ALWAYS sought those who trust Him alone. God offers eternity in heaven ONLY to those who trust in Him alone. The Church will prove all this, but it will be by its rejection of those who take the stance of trusting God alone.

Jesus said:

“You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it. [Matthew 7.13-14]

The "broad" way is the way of the world and its systems and ideologies. Should not the Church reject even the slightest embrace of the world?

Father, Your Word will be proven true. It's really not a matter of "if" but "when" established religion will fully reject and even expel those who choose to trust You alone. Prepare Your faithful ones for that day. So be it.
