Prepper's Priority

Then I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds so they did not blow on the earth or the sea, or even on any tree. And I saw another angel coming up from the east, carrying the seal of the living God. And he shouted to those four angels, who had been given power to harm land and sea, “Wait! Don’t harm the land or the sea or the trees until we have placed the seal of God on the foreheads of his servants.” [Revelation 7.1-3]

I make no claim here to understand even a small amount of what I should understand of the Revelation of John. So, with this disclaimer established, I would like to make an observation that I believe is important!

My observation is this: There are four angels in control of the four winds which tells me everything about the weather on planet earth is controlled by God.

My observation also tells me that what we call "end times events" will be largely synonymous with weather events.

Interestingly enough, current prevailing thought is that man is affecting the weather on planet earth through his abuse of resources. While prevailing thought is close to correct, it is not all correct! Man is indeed responsible for extreme weather patterns - not through abuse of resources however but through disobedience and sin.

One thing is certain: man can expect the weather on the earth to become only increasingly more drastic and severe - and it will be of a magnitude which man has no power to remediate. Simultaneously, the Bible is clear that the heavens (space) will also produce phenomena beyond man's capacity to prevent or escape.

The simple solution is preparation! According to Revelation, there is a "seal of God" that should be the prepper's number one priority! Then, it makes sense to at least understand the nature of what is being prepped for ...and that will be extreme weather and cosmic disturbances. How does one prepare for that? Only God can reveal how to do that.

Father, I feel like You are speaking to me through the Revelation of John today. Help me to understand my surroundings and the "climate" in which I live (both naturally and spiritually). Help me to further understand end times prophecies and make respective adjustments to my life.
