Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. [James 1.2-3]
Wow, I was just talking about this last night to a men's group.
It seems when troubles come, we tend to run and hide. But I was telling the men last night that when troubles come, we need to be ready to launch out in faith because, after the application of troubles upon our lives, Satan least expects us to rise up in faith!
It is in the midst of troubles that we can humbly repent and, in faith, then "go for our troublemaker's juggler vein!" The troubler or man's soul, Satan, does not expect us to react to our troubles in faith, but fully expects us to withdraw in condemnation! Oh how we should seize every opportunity to prove him wrong!
Father help us to embrace our troubles, not for the sake of embracing trouble, but for the sake of gaining spiritual ground in a strategic counter-attack upon our attacker!
