Jesus told them, “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.” [John 6.29]
This is critical. As John chapter 6 is a revelation of Christ, we are given important information as to what being "in Christ" looks like ...and it doesn't look like us!
Our job is to believe. As simple as this sounds, it is the most difficult thing in the world to a person convinced of human ability.
Oh, the irony of faith.
Father, I want to believe in Jesus.
